Front Line EMS

Work text messages: privacy policy

Effective 25 September 2026

This policy covers the work text messages Front Line EMS sends to its own staff: dispatch alerts, shift and schedule reminders, and sign-in codes. It explains what we keep, why, and who sees it.

Who receives texts

Only Front Line EMS employees who have turned texts on themselves, on our staff platform, by entering their mobile number and ticking a consent box. Agreeing is optional. We do not text patients or members of the public.

What we keep

Your mobile number; a record of your consent (the exact words you agreed to, and when); any later decision to stop texts; and delivery records for the messages we send you.

How we use it

Only to send you the work texts you agreed to, to honour your request to stop, and to keep an accurate record of both. Texts contain no patient information.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is passed only to the service provider that delivers our messages (Amazon Web Services) and to mobile carriers as needed to deliver them.

How long we keep it

Consent records are kept for as long as we need them to show who agreed to texts and when, including after you stop. Your number is not used for texts after you stop.

Stopping texts

Reply STOP to any text, or switch texts off at the bottom of the dashboard on the staff platform. Reply HELP for help.
